View Article  Mathematical Miracle
The Torah documents incredible miracles of nature from creation ex nihilo to divine interruptions of the Earths natural order. There is no subtlety to these Biblically documented events and their colossal majesty jumps out of the pages of holy books around the world. And while men of Abrahamic faith are humbled by such acts they consistently overlook a miracle experienced with every breath; a gift given, it would seem, exclusively to man.

That miracle is the correlation of human thoughts with the structure of the universe. To understand this statement we must delve into the world of mathematical philosophy.

A secret war has been waged amongst mathematicians for some time. In one camp lies the mighty Platonists whom believe that all of existence can be explained with numbers, while in the opposing camp lies the Formalists a collective that believe numbers are nothing more than symbols manipulated by man made rules.

Let us delve deeper with an example:

a + a = b

Both camps would agree that the shapes these symbols take on are meaningless, with Arabic numerals we could ascribe the symbol "2" to "a" and produce:

2 + 2 = 4

We arrive at "4" because it is this symbol that represents the produced value under the Arabic numeral system. But it is the value and not the shape of the character which is of value. We could just as easily write:

2 + 2 = 9

And the above formula would be true if the "9" symbol represented the value of "2" doubled.

Platonism focuses on the values behind the symbols, explaining existence through the eternal constants found in the values of formulas like the one above. The Platonist believes that the values & rules of mathematics are not a product of the mind, but they exist external to thought as a tangible entity threading the structure of existence. In simpler terms, when we calculate the speed of a car we do not create the formula & result with thought alone, rather we discover them.

On the other hand, Formalists consider these values to be meagre figments of the imagination. A thought system evolved within the human mind to describe reality, while in actuality these values are nothing more than a syntehisised theorem duping us into believing in something that isn’t there. A formalist believes that the only reason light travels at 299,792,458 mps is because we say it does and while circumstantial mathematical rules may exist – eternal mathematical values do not.

This branch of thought makes for great conversation, but it neglects one fact. Through the discovery of the mathematical properties of objective reality & the application of the Platonists numerical blueprint, man has been able to conquer his environment with such clarity that he can now cook food with invisible waves & blast out of the Earth’s orbit into space.

It is within this mathematical realm that one of the greatest miracles reveals itself. The astonishing fact isn’t that 2 + 2 = 4, nor is it our ability to cook food with invisible waves. The miracle lies in our ability to think in unity with the universe.

The human mind could interpret an environment countless ways, but by some miracle the mind functions in a way that enables man to decipher the universal mathematical truths. A clear indication that human thought patterns flow in perfect harmony with the thought patterns of the Universe; a profound gift that has enabled man to elevate himself above his environment.

The Deception
The first half of the 20th century was mans darkest hour, modern science unleashed an evil beyond his wildest nightmares as two consecutive global wars saw the loss of life on a scale unparalleled throughout history; genocides on an industrial level turned the slaughter of millions into a mechanical process, the introduction of chemical agents resulted in victims of war being eaten alive, while nuclear arms killed hundreds of thousands in the blink of an eye - leaving land uninhabitable to this day.

From the ashes of the Holocaust arose a deeply noble organisation with the raison d'être of international harmony and the sanctification of human rights:

“To save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom.”

The UN was born out of need, with such power at man fingertips a governing agent was required to act as both mediator and enforcer at times of conflict, but all is not as it seems. In the wake the carnage from the two World Wars we have been led to believe one of the greatest deceptions of our times, we mistakenly accept that following the colossal casualties of the First & Second World Wars mankind was shocked into a peace like state in which our planet experienced a great reduction in civilian destruction (With the orchestration of this global peace being credited to the UN.)

Unfortunately this myth is diametrically opposed to reality, one nation alone is responsible for the slaughter 35-70 million lives (7 million less than combined death toll of all the nations involved in the First World War), while 8 year old children are forced at gun point to join youth militias which roam through villages cutting down victims in wars they’re too young to understand.

One would expect the UN to be at the heart of resolving such tragic conflicts, but the historical record has proven that their concerns lie elsewhere; the Middle East. In the last 25 years the UN Security Council has issued 172 resolutions concerning Israel (of which over 100 were highly critical), as an isolated figure this may strike one as justified but this is the second stage of the great UN deception.

The Reality
Israel/Palestine:
172 resolutions, death toll around 30,000
China:  1 resolution, death toll 35,000,000+
Sudan: 10 resolutions, death toll 2,225,000+
North Korea: 9 resolutions (including south Korea), 2,000,000+
Nigeria: 0 resolutions, death toll 1,000,000+
*figures compiled from Genocide Watch & the UN

Even if the above statistics were slightly out, they reveal a hideous pattern of bias within an organisation that was established to harmonise the modern world. While hundreds of millions were brutally slaughtered by barbaric regimes – the UN looked away.

In fact when discussing Human Rights there is little room to talk about anything but Israel, at the U.N. Commission on Human Rights the only state with its own agenda is Israel (item 8) while every other country is handled in item 9. Proportionately it seems immoral to devote such lengths of time to a conflict with such minimal suffering.

To understand how this gross injustice has occurred one must first understand how the UN functions, there is a common misconception that the UN operates as an impartial international organisation of peace. But anyone that accepts this is ignorant to the structure of the United Nations. The UN is a collective of nation states, each state with individual agendas & alliances; political incentives motivate every action nation states take. Within the structure of the UN the Arab lobby is able rally up anti-Israeli mobs with ease (from both western nations protecting their lucrative oil contracts to non-aligned parties with political desires).

Many people mistakenly believe that the UN’s interest in Israel is directly linked to the suffering of the Palestinians. This couldn’t be further from the truth, when millions of Palestinian refugees suffered at the hands Jordanian & Lebanese regimes; the UN turned its head again. Why? Because there was no Israeli involvement in this suffering, consequentially the plight of these Palestinian victims slipped off the UN’s radar.

Just as the Jewish refugees expelled from Arab lands (a much greater number than the Palestinian Arabs that left Israel) also went unnoticed.

Similarly, many people believe that the Israeli interest is directly linked to an occupation, to the extent that the UN have called countless Emergency Special Sessions, but there have been no Emergency Special Sessions convened with respect to the Chinese occupation of Tibet, the Indonesian occupation of East Timor, the Syrian occupation of Lebanon, the slaughters in Rwanda, the disappearances in Zaire or the horrors of Bosnia. To put it bluntly during the last 20 years Emergency Special Sessions have rarely been used for anything but criticism of Israel.

It took little under 3 years for the highly modern & ethical western coalition to kill hundreds of thousands of Iraqi’s in the latest Gulf War, Israel has been in virtual a state of war with the Palestinians for almost 60 years, yet there have been less than 30,000 Palestinians killed in conflict. It’s not just the lack of casualties that make the Israeli conflict stand out, Israel has time & time again offered the Palestinians what the Arabs nations’ refuse to: citizenship, financial aid, modern healthcare, etc.

Coupled with the ongoing peace initiatives in which Israel has gone to great lengths to seek peace: the right to return, $30bn in compensation (to those that can’t return), Palestinians sovereignty over Palestine (with minor adjustments), a Palestinian governing authority, the Gaze Strip, etc.

To paint Israel as a majestically moral utopian state is delusional, like any conflict the Israel/Palestine feud has produced inexcusable actions from both parties; but the UN bias is indefensible and the efforts spent victimising Israel have meant that the worlds most sinister wars & colossal genocides have went unnoticed… the UN has the blood of millions on it’s hands.

View Article  If Jesus were the Messiah.... a response

Let me ask you three questions:

  1. Do you believe the Bible is true?
  2. Do you believe the words of the prophets, as they appear in the Bible are true?
  3. Do you believe the Messianic prophecies forcecast in the Bible are true?

If you answered "yes" for all three counts, then if Jesus were the Jewish Messiah:

1. The world would worship the One G-d of Israel (Isa 2:17)
2. The Jews would know the Torah without Study (Jer 31:33)
3. The knowledge of G-d would have filled the world (Isa 11:9)
4. The Sanhedrin would have been re-established (Isa 1:26)
5. The worlds weapons would have been destroyed (Eze 39:9)
6. There will be an ingathering of the exiles (Isa 11:12)
7. We would of witnessed an end to hunger, illness and death (Isa 25:8)
8. The dead would have been resurrected (Isa 26:19)
9. The world would have turned to Israel for spiritual guidance (Zec 8:23)
10. Evil and tyranny would of ceased to exist (Isa 11:4)
11. Israel would have turned from a barren to fertile land (Isa 51:3, 11:6-9, Amo 9:13-15, Eze 36:29-30)
12. The Jewish people would be experiencing eternal joy (Isa 51:11)
13. The Nations would have recognised the wrongs they had done to Israel (Isa 52:13-53:5)
14. The ruined cities of Israel would have been restored (Eze 16:55)
15. All of mankind would have been given the desires of their hearts (Psalms 37:4)
16. There'd be a Temple (Eze 40)

Of these 16 precepts Jesus failed to fulfil every single count, to combat this Christians argue that he will fulfil these prophecies with a second coming. But one can't help notice the lunacy of this logic; if we were to of encountered 2 comings, why would the prophets of went to such lengths to describe one?

Are you branding the prophets liars or mistaken?

Fortunately the prophets foresaw potential false-prophets and recorded the precepts of who the Moshiach could be, a Moshiach could come 9,000,000,000 times and these precepts would remain constant to his "first" coming (although the idea of a Messiah coming more than once is unnatural, unJewish & highly illogical).

1. He could only be descended from King David (Isa 11:1) via King Solomon (I Chron 22:8-10)
2. He could only be a man of this world, an observant Jew with "fear of God"
3. He would have included and attracted people from all cultures and nations
4. He would have been a messenger of peace (Isa 52:7)
(Isa 11:2) (Isa 11:10)

Of these 4 prophecies, Jesus fulfilled 2; "He was a man of peace" - but so was Ghandi, it didn't make him the Moshiach!, and "He attracted a diverse crowd to his teachings" -but on the other hand so did Stalin; perhaps you should be Messianic Stalinists.

It is staggeringly obvious that Jesus failed to meet any of the recorded precepts, to bypass this Messianic Christians have pulled prophecies out of thin air via deliberate mistranslations and scriptural ignorance. Ask yourself if Jesus hadn't come would you still read Zech 11:1-17 in the same light, or would the passage remain logical and in context with the text that precedes it?

Either, the prophets are lying and the Bible is false or Jesus isn't the Messiah and you were mistaken - there is no middle ground.

When considering the conception of the Universe cosmological consensus would imply that there existed an incredible profusion of energy, it is this energy that caused our Universe to come into existence and this same energy that constructs the present.

To better understand the implications of the above statement we must explore Einstein's equation: E=mc², which states that the energy (E) within something is equal to the inertial mass (M) of that thing multiplied by the speed (C) of light squared, this means that anything with mass also has energy (on an incogitable level). As a consequence we are not just surrounded by energy; we are made out of energy.

Once our Universe had come into existence the laws of thermodynamics ensured that within this space-time continuum energy is eternal, with this knowledge we can conclude that any energy in existence today (both kinetic and potential) was also here at the dawn of time.

In an age of mortality this is an enchanting revelation; generations of secular logos has instilled in us a belief that after death there lies nothing, yet this modern concept of energy introduces us to a new school of thought: not only were we here at the beginning of time - but we shall also be here at the end.

It is the eternal nature of energy that nudges the discourse into a spiritual dimension, Ein Sof is a Kabalistic term that is used to loosely describe G-d; literally meaning "without end", this description correlates with our understanding of energy… However, while energy may be G-dly; it is not G-dlike as it relies on external laws and forces to incarnate itself as matter.

An occidental conditioned mindset may grapple with the concept of a deity as the evolution of secularism has instilled a great distrust in that which logic cannot explain, yet the more enlightened man becomes the more perceptive he is to theories of an extraneous evolutionary catalyst.

"Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind all the discernible concatenations, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion. " – Albert Einstein

Material existence is reliant upon an enigmatic force which scientists have clumsily branded 'energy', yet this nugatory noun fails to capture the entirety of the subject which brought about our existence and defines our future. To declare this force a G-d is too great a compliment as there are strict laws controlling its behaviour, while isolating it in the scientific domain detracts from the entirety of this omnipresent entity. Personally, I like to think of it as an extension of an incomprehensible presence, an extension which is best described as the pabulum of existence.
